Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has treated reports of a bust-up with Emmanuel Adebayor light-heartedly, brushing off suggestions of a major row.
Reports had claimed that Adebayor had to be restrained by team-mates after Mancini accused him of feigning injury. Adebayor was said to have slammed scan results which confirmed a muscle tear rather than a dead leg down on Mancini's desk in anger, but the Italian minimised the issue when asked.
"We fought in the dressing room for an hour!" the Italian quipped to reporters," he said.
"I won because I don't have any scars. It was nothing."
