Olympique Marseille are considering signing Nigeria international, Taye Taiwo.The French Ligue 1 side are ready to take the left-back on a one-year loan deal, according to reports in France.Marseille are reportedly in need of a left-back in the wake of Djimi Traore's exit this summer.Taiwo joined AC Milan from Olympique Marseille last season on a free but has struggled to become a regular in the Serie A outfit's first team.Les Phoceens are looking to offer the Nigerian defender, who made just four appearances for AC Milan, an exit route out of Italy.As much as AC Milan are ready to farm out Taiwo on another loan deal after he spent half the season at QPR, his €2 million per annum wages could prove too high for Olympique Marseille.According to reports, Olympique Marseille’s sporting director, Jose Anigo, is keen to bring in 27-year-old Taiwo while Algerian Djamel Mesbah.Portuguese club, Benfica, have also been linked to Taiwo.
