With the impressive revamping of its tenant mix underway, the Management of West Hills Mall has announced the launch of another of what its shoppers love most – a Scratch and Win promotion – to crown this year’s Black Friday sales.
While stores in various retail categories like fashion, clothing, food and groceries, footwear, health and hardware have slashed prices in readiness for the seasonal Black Friday sales, the mall itself has decided to reward shoppers with high-value gifts and freebies in a new and exciting scratch and win promotion.
For the next one month (ending December 22) West Hills Mall customers who shop to the tune of at least Ghc 150 upon one visit, get a scratch card which gives away one of a variety of gift items, including mobile phones, electrical appliances, USB drives, branded mugs, umbrellas, baseball caps and many more.
In August this year, West Hills Mall announced it would introduce ahead of the festive season, a new and exciting mix of local and international tenants to serve its customers better and also to mark the centre’s fifth anniversary.
At least five new tenants are lined up to start trading and are fervently preparing to set up for the festive season, sources close to Management disclosed to journalists.
Indeed, customers were jubilant when they saw the ‘UKBrands’ store, stockists of acclaimed brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Primark, GAP and other great brands open for business three weeks ago. A second store, ‘Joe Scent’, specialists in unisex fashion, is also open and is trading in both formal and casual clothes, shoes, bags and cosmetics.
Four months ago, Mall Management reiterated its determination to raise customer satisfaction by bringing on board tenants with brands and products which resonate well with Ghanaians and which fully meet the demands of the local market.
“This Black Friday week is special to both our mall and its customers because aside of the numerous bargains and discounts which our stores are offering shoppers, the week also marks our fifth year in business. The Scratch and Win promo is our way of showing appreciation to our loyal customers,” said Miss Wendy Aryee, Marketing Manager.
Since October 2014, West Hills Mall has consistently raised the bar in customer loyalty appreciation, regularly rewarding dedicated customers with startling giveaways and gift packages, including cars, overseas holiday trips and generous shopping vouchers.
Five years on, the Mall is highly acknowledged as a powerful growth agent for the neighbouring communities of Accra West, as can now be witnessed in the sudden rush to the West side of the capital, of new and various businesses and services.
The Mall also pursues a policy of promoting good corporate neighbourliness through its well-tailored CSR initiatives and has made welcome donations in provisions and foodstuff to the House of Grace School for the Deaf – the only privately run non-profit institution in Accra West catering for the educational needs of children with hearing disability and has very frequently engaged and opened its doors to pupils of schools within the mall’s catchment area.
West Hills Mall also supported the local New-Weija Police Command and the Headquarters of the Formed Police Unit (FPU) with assorted building materials to enable them to complete their respective office and accommodation complexes.
