It’s official! Rapper Medikal and his wife, Mrs Fella Makafui Frimpong, are parents.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, over the weekend.
Medikal and Fella named their daughter, Island.
The new born baby shares the name with her father's third EP released on July 2.
Taking to their social media handles to share the news, the couple added a photo of Medikal holding little Island.
"Welcome to the universe my queen! Island Frimpong. You no get problem, God got us."
A few hours after the announcement, Island Frimpong had an Instagram page created in her name.
Although she currently has over 5000 followers, her fan base keeps growing.
Fella Makafui had already sparked pregnancy rumours when they got married on March 7.
But Medikal unveiled her pregnancy in his new song ‘Odo’ which features singer King Promise on August 8.
On Thursday, September 3, Fella Makafui also took to Instagram to share a video of her baby shower aimed at ushering her into a new life – motherhood.
