Government has up to Thursday to pay Members of Parliament their two year salaries in arrears and other allowances or face a possible boycott of proceedings in the House.
The threat has already resulted in government missing out on a 61 million Ghana cedis loan from Cal Bank to fund electrification and water projects in parts of the country.
Member of Parliament for Tafo Pankrono Dr. Anthony Osei Akoto issued the threat when he raised the issue on the floor of the House on Wednesday.
He called on the Speaker to advice the House on the next line of action to take.
But Majority Leader Dr. Benjamin Kunbour assured members the issue is receiving serious attention at the presidency adding the money will be paid tomorrow.
He said he and the Speaker will deal with the matter on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the House today adopted the report of the committee of selection on the composition of members to the business and the appointments committees.
Members however served notice it will no longer accept the practice where substantive ministers either refuse to come before the House or delegate their deputies to answer questions in Parliament.
