The Chelsea midfielder is one of 15 Europe-based players called up for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia.
Also recalled is Inter Milan's Joel Obi, who has been hampered by injury this term.
While the Obis get recalls, former youth international Ogenyi Onazi from Italian club Lazio earns a first call-up.
The domestic League players are led by Warri Wolves keeper Chigozie Agbim, his teammate Azubuike Egwuekwe is included, while regulars like Godfrey Oboabona and Juwon Oshaniwa also make the cut.
The home-based players are expected in camp by Sunday, September 30, at the Bolton White Hotel in Abuja, while their foreign-based counterparts are expected to join the team by October 8, in Calabar, unfailingly.
"We hope to have at least five training sessions together and that should be enough for the team to do well against Liberia," Keshi says.
