Modernising digital education is my priority” – Newly appointed board member of Educational Communities Worldwide reveals.
Award-winning Digital Media Expert, Edward Asare has been appointed by Educational Communities Worldwide as a Board Member and Marketing Committee Chair.
The 11-member board is expected to lead Educom’s expansion across Africa.
In this role, Edward Asare is expected to spearhead Educom’s marketing, communication and strategy efforts in a bid to provide educational training and opportunities for students across the globe.
Speaking in an interview, Edward noted that his appointment dawns on the responsibility of contributing to a more modernized and industry-based education system in Ghana.
“The end-product of education must be either the establishment of a career or the continuation of industry and service – factors our educational system lacks. Modernising education is my priority and I deem this new role as the pivot to that,” he stated.
He added “It’s a privilege to work with Educom to develop initiatives and projects that support students especially in Africa. I have always wanted to give back to society. Educational Communities Worldwide has given me the opportunity to be part of something worthwhile.”
