Nigerian artiste, KashBwoy, says he believes some legendary Ghanaian artistes paved way for music in Africa.
According to him, artistes like Osibisa, E.T. Mensah, Kojo Antwi and other veteran artistes inspired many singers across the continent, himself included, to make great music.
“They were real musicians in Africa who brought these sounds we enjoy now. So we need to tap into their intelligence. We need to go back to the roots and come back with newer stuff,” he said in an interview with Adomonline.
KashBwoy added that songs from VVIP and others have also played a major role in his transformation as an artiste.
These artistes he said take time to compose their songs and produce excellent rhythm to go with them.
