The new G1157 and S308 come with an MTN Sim card pre-loaded with ₵1.00 worth of MTN credit. Subscribers also get 20 free SMS and up to ₵2.00 bonus airtime depending on usage in the first month. There is also an amazing 300% bonus on first recharge in the third month of usage. Subscribers who buy this phone also get to enjoy the unique call plans which equally make it possible for them, irrespective of their call background to benefit from MTN’s reduced tariffs. Depending on the plan chosen, subscribers enjoy up to 7.5 pesewas per minute or can enjoy up to 99% discount on MTN Zone. Recently, MTN also introduced the MTN Fonm@il service which is another first in the market and allows all MTN subscribers to receive email on their mobile phones directly irrespective of the kind of phone they use.
