Some thirty-three deserving businesses and personalities were honoured at the Ghana Business Quality and Pride Awards in Accra for their meritorious contribution to Ghana’s economy over the years.  Multi TV a satellite television of the Multimedia Group Limited was acknowledged as the Premium Quality Electronic Media Business Pride award for the year 2018. The former CEO of Korlebu Teaching Hospital and Chairman of Holy Trinity Spa, Dr Felix Anyah was adjudged the Health Business Icon and Pride of Volta Region Award while the Holy Trinity Spa was honoured with Premium Quality Spa and Health Tourism Business. Speaking to JoyBusiness at the event, Dr Anyah said: “it’s about time the country explored health tourism as one of the health benefits and income generation”. He believes the tourism potentials in the country remain untapped.  He added that “the Volta River, mountains and waterfalls in the Volta region needs to be explored by citizens and this exercise improves the psychological and emotional wellbeing of humans”. Vokacom, Star Life Assurance, Apple Technology were among the businesses that were honoured while chairman of Blow Group of Companies, Manoj Lakhiani won the overall best business icon of the year.
