The two day festival will feature performances by Efya, US based Kim Poole, Lipsticks Band, Delassie, Aklerh, Lamisi, Obaaku Papapaa, Lady P.J, Veronica Quaye, Maya Blu, Lali and Lola and several others.
Audiences will enjoy a blend of soulful vocals, energetic rhythms and fresh creative expressions that reinforce the growing influence of women in Ghana’s music space.
MUSIGA President Bessa Simons said, “MUSIGA invites music lovers, industry professionals, and the general public to join us in this empowering festival that champions women’s voices and talents in Ghana’s vibrant music scene.”
He added, “She Rhythms Festival will showcase the amazing talents of our women and add to the amazing December in Gh experiences as well as the Black Star Experience.”
A workshop is scheduled for Saturday to provide participants with insights into current trends shaping the music business. Resource persons will offer practical guidance to help musicians manage and grow their careers in today’s evolving industry.
Festival attendees will also enjoy a traditional performance by the Susuma Cultural Troupe, which will honour Ghana’s rich artistic heritage through dance and music.
The She Rhythms Festival is being organised in collaboration with Alliance Française Accra with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and the Ghana Tourism Authority, and is powered by RAM Concepts.
