Musician Fameye has revealed that the music he makes is inspired by Ghanaians on the street and others struggling to succeed in life.
Speaking on Prime Morning on Joy Prime, the ‘Nothing I Get‘ hitmaker explained that he loves to use his platform to highlight the struggles of such individuals especially since they have no one to speak for them.
Fameye told Emefa Adeti, the host, that it is easy for people to relate to his songs because they identify something that reflects their reality.
He dismissed perceptions that the music he makes is as a result of his struggles despite making a name for himself in the industry.
Fameye admitted that some songs are inspired by his life but he is not living a “sad” depressed life like people assume.
He explained that using his platform to display the trials of people helps them to feel they have been represented.
Unlike some young people who barely make it in the industry, Fameye said he is happy to have made a brand for himself.
He explained it is the music he makes that has helped him create the brand he wants in the industry.
