The running mate of the NDC flagbearer, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has taken her regional tour of the country to the Western North Region.
The former Cape Coast University Vice-Chancellor will from Tuesday, September 1, embark on a four-day campaign tour to towns in the Western North Region.
The main objective of her visit will be to engage members of communities in the Region on their plights and find ways of resolving them.
Prof Naana Opoku-Agyemang will first, in accordance with tradition, pay homage to traditional authorities and opinion leaders in the region.
She will engage them on a wide range of issues including peace, stability, development, inclusiveness, education and economic prosperity.
John Mahama's running mate will also hold conversations with communities youth groups, women’s groups and the physically challenged, among others on how their lives can be improved in their various communities.
The NDC Vice Presidential Candidate will also meet with Regional Executives of the NDC to hold interactions as well.
Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang will be accompanied by National Executives of the NDC, National Campaign Team Members, Members of Parliament, Regional and Constituency Executives.
