Polls have ended in Tain with reports of jubilant NDC crowd clad in white apparels.
The crucial Tain constituency election crowns a competitive presidential election runoff which ended in a stalemate on December 28.
The constituency could not take part last Sunday's runoff due to late arrival of electoral materials.
Joy correspondents say the polls were generally peaceful but were rocked with low turnouts, partly because of the boycott of the NPP.
At the close of poll, 428 voters were said to have cast their ballots out a total of 1600 at the health centre polling station in Nsokow, the constituency capital.
On December 7 general election, 790 voters cast their ballot at the centre.
According to one of the correspondents Kojo Fodjour, the NDC supporters with animation rushed to the polling station to observe the counting.
They say victory is assured the NDC even before counting is done.
Indeed early results that trickled in reveal a commanding lead by the opposition NDC.
