The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tuesday took delivery of 25 pickup vehicles to help in its campaign towards the December elections.
The party had already taken delivery of 40 of the vehicles which had been dispatched to the regions for campaign purposes.
The vehicles are part of a consignment of 115 vehicles members of the party and well wishers are donating to support the party's campaign activities.
The running mate of the party's flag-bearer, Mr John Mahama, who presented the keys of the vehicles to the General Secretary of the party, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, in Accra said the vehicles would boost the campaign of the party.
He urged the party hierarchy in the regions to make the vehicles available to the foot soldiers for party work.
Mr Nketia for his part, pledged to put the vehicles to their intended purposes, adding that "we are well aware of the task ahead of us."
He thanked members of the party for their goodwill and support for the party, and gave the assurance that the party was poised to wrest power from the New Patriotic Party.
He called on party members and supporters to be committed in the campaign explaining that the changes that the NDC would bring to the lives of the majority of the people.
Mr Nketia further urged them not to be complacent about the recent survey which placed the party slightly ahead of the ruling party but intensify their work towards success.
