Dave Ulrich, a Professor at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan will be in Ghana from July 30-31 for a series of high level engagements, focused on Leadership Sustainability and HR Transformation, and Value Creation.
The events, organized by 2SL Ghana Limited, and under the auspices of SHRM Ghana Forum, form part of the 'Strategic Management in Action Series' and will be hosted by the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
It is on the theme 'From Cost-Cutting to Value Creation: Driving Workplace Performance Through Best HR and Leadership Practices".
According to the Project Manager for the event, Miss Freda Addu, the main objectives are to help shape the future of leadership and HR practice in Ghana, examine the latest trends in HR and Leadership, so as to support practitioners in adopting the latest requisite competencies needed to drive value creation for all stakeholders. It will also provide participants the golden opportunity to meet and learn directly from the iconic thought leader.
Ranked over the last six consecutive years as the number one Most Influential International Thought Leader in HR, Dave Ulrich is a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value.
He studies how organizations build capabilities of leadership, speed, learning, accountability, and talent through leveraging human resources. He has helped generate award winning data bases that assess alignment between strategies, organization capabilities, HR practices, HR competencies, and customer and investor results.
The event is in two-folds, starting with an exclusive and interactive evening with CEOs and Board Executives on how to turn leadership aspirations into real and observable behaviors, scheduled for July 30. The second day, July 31 will be an immense day long series of Master Classes on HR Transformation, Value Creation, Leadership Sustainability.
Participants will leave the sessions as more confident professionals, and equipped with real actionable outcomes that will see tremendous improvements in their HR/Leadership investments.
