Following reports that she gave birth, Nicki Minaj has finally revealed the gender of her baby. The Queen rapper shared the special news in an Instagram post.
After weeks of lying low, Minaj returned to the social platform on Wednesday (October 14) where she shared a collection of sweet cards she received from some of her friends, including Beyoncé.
"Onika, welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family," Bey wrote.
Winnie Harlow, Riccardo Tisci, Karol G, and Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West also sent her their love and congratulations.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me,” the rapstress penned, before revealing, “I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
This comes after Minaj confirmed that she was expecting her first child with her husband, Kenneth Petty, back in July. She revealed her pregnancy in a series of posts on Instagram with a gorgeous maternity shoot. Tributes poured in from across social media as people sent the couple their congratulations and well wishes.
The exciting news arrived nine months after Minaj confirmed that the two officially tied the knot in October 2019, posting a clip of matching “Mr. and Mrs.” mugs along with “Bride” and “Groom” baseball caps.
