One of the most-anticipated music events in the country, the 10th edition of the Central Music Awards, comes off at the Centre for National Culture in Cape Coast on Friday, November, 26.
The artistes are said to be in high spirit as the music event promises some thrilling moments with Highlife Music icon Kwabena nominated to receive a lifetime award for his contributions to music in the country.
The event, powered by Heritage Promotions, is expected to celebrate music talents who have their roots from the Central Region.

CEO of Heritage Promotions, Francis Spio, says apart from the event celebrating the likes of ‘Kwabena Kwabena’, one of the music icons from the region, the 10th edition would seek to encourage and empower burgeoning artistes that are growing their careers in the region and other parts of the country.
He says, “We can hopefully continue to grow and reach new heights together if we put our shoulders to the wheel and support one another to grow. This year, however, marks the tenth anniversary of this awards program, which honors and rewards hardworking musicians from Ghana’s Central Region”

He congratulated all nominated artistes and managers for keeping the flame of music in the region glowing.
The Heritage Promotion, an event house that has chalked many successes in the music industry, hopes to bring the region alive with superb a show on Friday.

Mr. Spio noted that, it is their own bit to harness the tourism potential in the region using music as a catalyst for the development of the region in terms of creative space in the region.
With the aim of promoting and awarding young musicians in the industry and to entertain the populace of the region, he solemnly invited the public to witness who takes home the ultimate prize.

The event is themed 'Our Music Our Heritage’ and is scheduled to take place at the CNC auditorium in the Central Regional capital Cape Coast.
