NPP chairman, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, General Secretary Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie and activist, Frances Essiam are to appear before the police CID today.
They have been invited by the police to help investigate claims that some NPP supporters were killed during the recent parliamentary by-election at Atiwa.
A group calling itself the Media Analyst Group of the NDC filed a petition saying Messrs Obetsebi-Lamptey and Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie and activist, Madam Frances Essiam caused fear and panic by their claims.
The NPP chairman has promised full cooperation.
