Dr. Nana Benyin Enninful has been elected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Germany Branch, defeating the incumbent, Dr. Felix Yamoah, in the branch’s latest executive elections.
At the same time, Michael Arthur (McArthur) also won the polls to emerge as Communication Officer of the branch.
The elections, held simultaneously in Hamburg and Saarbrücken, produced a new team of executives to lead the party’s activities in Germany for the next four years.

Dr. Enninful will be supported by Edith Opoku Mensah, popularly known as Nana Ama Seewaah, as First Vice Chairperson, with Ruth Lindenberger elected Second Vice Chairperson.
Kofi Okantah was elected Secretary, while Frempong Boakye Isaac, also known as FBI, was elected Deputy Secretary.
Other elected executives are Sitah Abdul-Hhaaliq, Organizer; Michael Arthur (McArthur), Communication Officer; Mary Ahenkan (Kumasi Market), Women’s Organizer; Oppong Odkuku Kwadwo, Youth Organizer; Mohamed Awal, Treasurer; and Alhaji Busy Ouedraogo, Nasara Organizer.

The election marks a change in leadership of the branch, with the new executives expected to strengthen its organisational structures and coordinate activities among the various chapters in Germany.
In his post-election remarks, Dr. Enninful called for unity among members and pledged to lead an administration that would be open to the views of the wider membership.
"This is not just an election victory; it is a new dawn for our beloved party in Germany," Dr. Enninful declared. "My administration will be built on the bedrock of democratic leadership, where every voice is heard, every opinion is respected, and every member matters. I extend a hand of fellowship to all whether you were with us yesterday or not. The doors of this branch are open to everyone who believes in the NPP's vision of progress."

He said the interests of ordinary party members would be central to his administration, while stressing the need for greater participation and stronger branch structures.
The new leadership also faces the task of improving coordination among the branch’s chapters, strengthening communication and increasing the participation of women and young people in party activities.
The elections were conducted amid calls for members to work together after the polls. The new executives said they would collaborate with the outgoing administration, chapter executives, delegates and the wider membership in running the branch.
"We are stronger together," McArthur commented. "There is no room for division or bitterness. The ultimate strength of the NPP Germany Branch lies not in individual personalities but in the collective efforts of its members."
The new administration is also expected to position the branch for its role in preparations towards Ghana’s 2028 general elections.
