Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia continues his nationwide campaign tour in the Oti Region on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Dr. Bawumia has spent the past three months travelling across the country to engage NPP stakeholders in different phases of his campaign. In his latest phase, which began about a month ago, he has been holding deeper interactions with grassroots members of the party at the constituency level.
So far, the tireless former Vice President has toured constituencies in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North, and Western Regions. The Oti Region marks the next stop on his campaign trail, which has been dubbed “Our Journey Together.”

He is expected to visit three constituencies today: Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, and Krachi East.
Bawumia’s constituency-based campaign has generated significant enthusiasm among party members, with many openly declaring their support. This growing momentum reinforces his standing as the overwhelming favourite to be elected the NPP’s flagbearer for the 2028 election.
The party will go to the polls on January 31, 2026, to elect its presidential candidate.
