Staff of NSIA Insurance Ghana Limited embarked on a health walk in Accra with a dual mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle and to bring insurance to the doorstep of clients.
Hundreds of staff of the insurance company converged at their head office at Tesano Saturday to begin their exciting journey.
The walk started at a brisk pace with staff singing a chorus of cheer songs as they made their way to Achimota lorry station.
The staff led by the Managing Director (MD), Mable Nana Nyarkoa Porbley together with the commercial trotro and taxi drivers were then taken through an aerobics session.
Also, Ms. Edith Lawson, in-charge of Communications and Publicity at NSIA, in an interview said as a key player in Ghana’s insurance industry, NSIA is doing it bit to help increase insurance penetration in the country.
She indicated that majority of commercial drivers lack knowledge about insurance claims thus the walk will help staff engage and educate the drivers at the Achimota lorry station.
Edith Lawson said the NSIA insurance sensitization drive will be replicated at their branches across the country.
