The wait is finally over! The much-anticipated 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) officially kicks off tomorrow, Monday, October 20, 2025, with 147 schools gearing up to battle for spots in the next stage of the prestigious competition.
Out of the 174 schools participating in this year’s championship, 27 have already secured automatic qualification to the one-eighth stage, leaving the remaining 147 to compete fiercely in the preliminary rounds.
The preliminary contests are scheduled to run from Monday, October 20, to Thursday, October 24, 2025, featuring schools from across the country in a series of intellectually charged matchups that promise excitement, rivalry, and moments of brilliance.
