Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has described his former teammate, Annor Aziz as one of the best players during their days as youth players.
Gyan and Aziz reunited during his All Regional Games tour in the Northern Region.
The two shared a history from their days at Great Cedabs colts team in Accra, where they honed their skills together.
While Gyan soared to become one of the nation's finest players, boasting an impressive record of 51 goals in 109 appearances for Ghana, Aziz chose the path of coaching.
In a heartfelt moment captured on video, shared on TikTok, Gyan lauded Aziz as one of the best defenders he had ever encountered, reminiscing about his strength, speed, and overall talent.
"He was my former teammate at Colts level," Gyan can be heard in a viral video saying.
Gyan stated that his former teammate, Aziz's exceptional abilities on the field, and that he was one of the best.
"This guy [Aziz] was very strong, fast. He had everything," he noted.
"He was one of the best, but that's life. I am happy to see him," he said.
Aziz, equally thrilled by the unexpected reunion, expressed his gratitude for the chance to reconnect with Gyan.
"[Reconnecting with Gyan] very is great. I was not expecting him here," Aziz said.
