Asante Kotoko interim manager Michael Osei is hoping the club can move quickly to acquire the services of sought-after striker Latif Blessing as early as possible.
Kotoko are in the market, searching for the right players to fortify their squad ahead of the start of the new campaign after failing to glitter and ending up without the title despite showing great promise prior to the start.
And Osei has identified Blessing as a key player who can propel them to glory next season.
“We have a couple of players we are hoping to get before next season, Latif is part, he is on the list and we are hoping to sign him,” Osei told Accra based Starr FM
“He is a wonderful player and it will be good of you get a player of such in your team.
“Everyone saw what he did in the League last season so we are hoping to sign him to the Club but there are also other players we are hoping to sign as well.”
The Liberty Professionals prodigy emerged top scorer in the just ended league with 17 goals and has been targeted by a host of clubs in Ghana and abroad.
