About 100 dead bodies which were placed on the bare floor at the Pantang mortuary to prevent them from decomposing, have been put back into the refrigerators.Joy FM early this week reported that bodies in the Pantang morgue had been displayed on the bare floor because of faulty refrigeration system there.The fault, according to reports, had been occasioned by the constant power fluctuation.Following the report, Management of the morgue quickly repaired the broken down motors that rendered the refrigerators useless for four days and the bodies were returned into the fridges Thursday.Hospital Administrator, Yaw Adjei confirmed this to Joy News.He said the Joy FM story created panic in families whose dead relatives were in the morgue. Many people, he narrated, rushed to the hospital to retrieve their bodies when they heard the news.He was however happy that things had returned to normalcy.
