Ghana defender John Paintsil visited the Black Stars training session on Wednesday morning to wish the his colleagues well ahead of their double header against Sudan and Lesotho.
The right-back was excluded from the Black Stars squad for next month’s 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
But the experienced player was on the sidelines to witness the entire session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Paintsil has just completed his one-year deal in Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv and is in town for holidays.
He however used the opportunity to meet up with his international colleagues to assure them of his support ahead of the crucial games against Sudan and Lesotho.
The Ghana team will travel for their residential camp in Ethiopia on Thursday ahead of the June 8 World Cup qualifier against Sudan in Khartoum.
The Black Stars will then travel to face Lesotho a week after in Maseru.
