Pastor Daniel Amoateng and his church, Power of Worship International (POWI), demonstrated a strong commitment to humanitarian and charitable work by offering support to the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
They provided a wide range of essential items to those affected, emphasising the importance of practicing true Christianity by helping those in need.

The items donated, including bags of water, mattresses, food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and more, were aimed at assisting the victims during their difficult times.
Pastor Amoateng's message highlighted the significance of collective efforts from religious organizations, private institutions, and government bodies in supporting those affected by disasters and crises, emphasising the importance of prioritising humanity over political or personal interests.

It's also noteworthy that Pastor Amoateng had previously demonstrated his commitment to helping the community during the COVID-19 pandemic by offering his church apartments to house the homeless.
His church's monthly donations to church members and the community, as well as covering electricity and water bills for its members, further underline their dedication to humanitarian work.

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, one of the affected areas, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, expressed his gratitude for Pastor Amoateng's support and also acknowledged a pledge for assistance with the construction of resettlement accommodation buildings.
Pastor Daniel Amoateng and his church's actions serve as a powerful example of the role that religious organisations and individuals can play in offering aid and support to those facing difficult circumstances and crises.
