Counsellor and Reverend Minister, Daniel Annan has said that people who live in their past relationships are in bondage.
Such people, according to him, become enslaved to their initial relationships and refuse to be cured.
The counsellor mentioned this while explaining the things one should know and do in their search for the right partner.
"If the person is that person who always wants to talk about the past, he or she is in bondage," he said on Thursday.
Therefore, there is a need to flee from such people because they cannot be delivered and may try to inflict their pain on others.
Rev. Annan further indicated that the majority of such individuals usually face challenges in their previous relationships, making it difficult to let go of the pain.
Another thing to look out for when searching for the right partner he said, "If the person’s thinking is about only money but not caring and you know that he’s always focused on business, he will treat you as a business.
He attributed his statement to the fact that such people are business-minded and do not apportion time for their families after marriage.
Rev. Annan advised individuals to avoid transferring their past relationship experiences to others and treat people differently because each human being is unique.
However, when looking for a qualified spouse, one should always consider a team work because he or she is capable of sustaining their union.
