Some residents of Tema Community 4 are currently living with a situation which could be best described as an epidemic waiting to happen.
The Central Sewerage System in the industrial town that serves the estate houses has broken down. This has resulted in spillage of liquid waste on the streets and in front of homes with offensive odour filling the air.
Health experts have warned that the situation could lead to a possible epidemic which could affect hundreds of residents, if not addressed.
