Ghana’s number one DJ, DJ Black, was a special guest at Hot 97’s ‘On Da Reggae and Soca Tip’ over the weekend.
The event, which saw some of the biggest names in reggae and dancehall in attendance, the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island, an outdoor live entertainment venue on the Riegelmann Boardwalk in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York.

During his appearance there, DJ Black met and interacted with big names in the reggae and dancehall fraternity, like Busy Signal, Ding Dong, Baby Cham, Shensea, and Afro B.
Ghana’s respected DJ also spent some time at the backstage with some hot shots – TT Torrez, Jabba, and Massive B – of Hot 97. The big shots and patrons were excited to have an African DJ at the event.

He was the event with New York-based veteran Ghanaian DJs Elove and Soul Selector.
Before his appearance at the event, DJ Black was hosted by one of America’s favourite radio personality, DJ Ebro Darden on Monday Motivation Mix.
In a video posted on Twitter, the duo was seen in the Beats1 studio prepping for the show.
