The family of late former Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese MP has officially informed Parliament of the demise of Halifax Hayford.
The family of the late legislator all dressed in black were in the House to announce the passing of their beloved to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.
Mr Hayford represented the people of Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese in the Central Region in the 3rd Parliament of the 4th Republic.
The late former MP passed away on January 19, after a short illness.
The burial and final funeral rites are scheduled for April 29 to 30, 2021 at the Christ Cathedral Anglican Church, Cape Coast.
