The Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema, has married his long-time girlfriend Mantwa Matlala in a private ceremony under heavy security in his hometown Seshego, Polokwane in Limpopo, according to reports on Sunday.
A huge marquee was erected to block the street in front of Malema’s grandmother’s double-storey house.
The two celebrations were designed and managed by Two Way Exhibitions and Events and the marquees were sourced from Western Cape-based Downings Marquee Hiring.

The word on the street was that Malema’s family had requested that he should dance in the street with his new wife at his house – as is the norm at an African traditional wedding.
Guests included Economic Freedom Fighters( EFF) chairperson Dali Mpofu, UDM leader Bantu Holomisa, Malema’s lawyer Tumi Mokwena, former Muvhango actress Lerato Moloi, former Limpopo premier Cassel Mathale and former MECs Pinky Kekana and Clifford Motsepe.

According to media report, some guests arrived in a helicopter and were taken to the wedding venue in a Golf 7.
Malema bought his bride an expensive engagement ring with blue diamonds before the wedding, the newspaper reported.
Guests included Economic Freedom Fighters chairman Dali Mpofu, Malema's lawyer Tumi Mokwena, former Muvhango actress Lerato Moloi and former Limpopo premier Cassel Mathale.

Malema, his grandmother and son, Ratanang, arrived at the venue around 1pm, Sunday Times reported.
Kgaogelo Thobakgale, a Seshego resident who went early to witness the ceremony despite not being invited, said it was a happy time for the town.
"We are here making a guard of honour by the entrance to show our appreciation. Julius married a local girl and this big wedding is happening right here in Seshego. I'm happy," Thobakgale was quoted as saying in the Sunday Times.
