The Ghana Football Association has unveiled a new Premier League trophy it acquired from Italy for the winners of the league. The cup Treplaces old trophy which was provided by the immediate past title sponsors of the Premier League.
Executive committee member of the GFA, Nana Banyin Eyison, who represented the President of the FA at the event announced an amount of GHC 120,000 for the winners of this year's league.
Eyison stressed on the need to make the trophy an iconic one for the league.
"The new trophy is going to be the ICONIC emblem of the league which would be used for years," he said.
