The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested three individuals in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra, on Saturday, October 18.
The Police announced on Sunday, October 19, that investigations have begun to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which disrupted activities at the popular leisure facility.
“The Accra Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into a shooting incident that occurred yesterday, 18th October 2025, at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra.
“Three persons have so far been arrested in connection with the incident, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend any other persons involved,” the statement read.
The police further assured the public that comprehensive investigations are underway and that additional details will be communicated in due course.
Although details surrounding the cause of the shooting remain unknown, the police have not yet disclosed the identities of the suspects.
The Celebrity Golf Club, located in the Tema West Municipality, is a popular destination for golfers and social events.
