General Secretary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Eugene Boakye Antwi, has criticised President John Dramani Mahama, accusing him of lacking clarity and decisiveness in his leadership.
Speaking in an interview on JoyNews’ AM Show on Thursday, September 11, Mr Antwi argued that the President’s recent media encounter exposed significant shortcomings.
“We saw clearly from the President's encounter with the media yesterday, that he is fumbling. He is really fumbling. He wasn't straightforward,” he asserted.
He further questioned President Mahama’s handling of national security issues, citing challenges even within his own political stronghold. “Look at the insecurity in his own backyard,” Mr Antwi remarked, insisting that the President had failed to provide convincing answers on pressing matters.
According to Mr Antwi, such inconsistencies not only undermine confidence in the presidency but also weaken the government’s ability to address the economic and social challenges confronting Ghanaians.
