President John Evans Atta Mills returned home on Monday from Burkina Faso where he attended the inaugural ceremony of President Blaise Compaore.
Some government officials accompanied the President to the ceremony.
President Compaore, who won the presidential election in November last month with an 80 per cent lead, has added another five years to his 23 year rule as a result.
At the Kotoka International Airport to welcome President Mills were the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, Ministers of State and Senior Military and Police Personnel.
