One of the world's leading sports apparel and logistics manufacturers *PUMA*, has given Ghana Beach soccer the green light to receive kits and gear for future beach soccer competitions.
The confirmation comes after a presentation of Ghana Beach Soccer to *PUMA* by Beach Soccer President Yaw Ampofo Ankrah in March this year. This was followed by a visit and inspection tour of the Laboma beach soccer arena by *PUMA* officials who had come to launch the *PUMA* School of Speed in Accra.
Touching on why Ghana Beach Soccer caught their attention and attracted the *PUMA* brand, German based Marketing Manager *Simon Holthaus* explains.
The full extent of the sponsorship agreement is expected to be announced in the coming days. It is confirmed however, that teams featuring in the maiden Beach Soccer Unity Cup would be the first beneficiaries of the package.
That competition is slated to kick off on Friday July 1st at the Laboma Beach Soccer Arena and will feature teams representing each of the coastal regions in Ghana. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah sheds more light on the *PUMA* sponsorship and the upcoming tournament.
