Former Cameroonian Captain Rigobert Song says Ghana and Ivory Coast are not favorites for the Africa Cup of Nations title next January in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Ghana and the Ivory Coast are expected to be involved in a two horse race for the title in the absence of record winners Egypt, Nigeria and Cameroon.
The former Liverpool defender in an interview with JOY Sports stated that, all the teams for next year’s tournament are capable of winning since they are there on merit.
“It is very difficult to say who is going to win but what I know is that every team is growing and you cannot underrate any team”. Said Song
Rigobert song in his 18 year national team career won the Cup of Nations twice with the indomitable lions.
