Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible pursuit of 1000 career goals continues, with the Portuguese superstar now just 50 goals away from the historic milestone.
The 40-year-old found the net in Al Nassr’s 2–0 win over Al Hazem, helping his side maintain their perfect start to the Saudi Pro League season. Ronaldo has now scored six goals in as many matches this campaign, taking his tally to 106 goals in 119 appearances for Al Nassr since joining in January 2023.
Celebrating his latest milestone, Ronaldo wrote on social media: “Happy to help the team win and hit 950 goals! Always hungry for more!”
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who turns 41 in February, hopes to reach the 1000-goal mark within the next 12 months if he keeps up his prolific scoring rate for club and country. Al Nassr, meanwhile, have now won all six of their league games to start the season.
