All growing businesses have a need for investments. How they attract such investments however is a complex and carefully weighted decision. With a growing Ghanaian economy and an increasing inflow of Foreign Direct Investment into Ghana, several companies are positioning themselves to take full advantage of the opportunities that the market presents.
However access to good long term capital for expansion still remains a challenge. Several options remain open to Ghanaian businesses including listing on the Ghanaian or other Stock exchanges or entering into joint venture with international partners.
The latter option is one where most Ghanaian companies seem to have a challenge. Tapping from the expertise of leading trade and investment experts, the 8th breakfast series will seek to fully explore this topic by using examples of successful companies that have managed this feat in Ghana and Africa.
