On walls and in all corners, are visible notices on hand-washing, wearing of mask and use of sanitizers.

Hand washing machines popularly known as ‘Veronica buckets’ provided by government are dotted around school premises to encourage people to wash their hands.
Dormitories, previously accommodating 40 students, will now take maximum 20.
Numbers in classrooms have been reduced significantly to ensure social distancing.

Headmaster, Rev. Fr. Stephen Owusu Sekyere told JoyNews that the school is being assisted by the South Suntreso government hospital to deal with issues that may arise despite all protocols.
Students, at the school at the time of our visit, were being handed hand sanitizers and face masks.

Some of them were settling in for the task ahead.

Kumasi City Mayor, Osei Assibey Antwi also toured various to schools to acquaint himself with how the new policies are being implement.
“We are working towards sustaining the protocols so we have people from the education office who will visit the schools on daily basis to check for all protocols. So internal COVID 19 teams will work with the health service to ensure we don’t realize spread”, he added.
