At least seven people were burnt to death at Mampong Asante in the Ashanti Region after a fire gutted a home Friday dawn.
The fire which started at 3 a.m. burnt to death a man and his four children who were asleep in the house number WU279.
According to Nhyira FM’s Nana Boateng, a couple who were also on a visit lost their lives.
Firefighters are on the scene, however, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
The bodies of the dead have been sent to the Mampoase hospital for autopsy.
