The Springboard 2013 Grand Convocation is set to take place at the Accra Trade Fair Center on Saturday January 26 from 9am to 3pm under the theme “Going Global”. This event will kick off the Springboard Road Show, which will be hosted by different sponsors at different cities around the country. The seventh annual Springboard event, the convocation will be a chance to set this year’s Springboard agenda and according to co-host Albert Ocran, it will be a good opportunity for attendees to network and share ideas and inspirational personal stories. Ocran will be joined as host by Comfort Ocran. The first speaker will be Uncle Ebo White of Joy FM fame and Dr. Mensa Otabil will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Michael Ikpoki, Dr. Esi Ansah, KSM, and Kafui Dey. The convocation will feature a colloquium on three sub-themes, namely strategy, skills, and social media. Working professionals will offer attendees one-on-one career guidance, making the conference one of both inspirational messages and practical tools. Tickets to the convocation will cost GHC 20 and are available at the Joy FM front desk, Zenith Bank Branches, Campus SRCs, or from the following phone numbers: 0249999555 and 0244259393. Tickets to regional events cost GHC 15. The lead sponsor and convocation host will be MTN; other sponsors include Newmont Ghana Gold, Zenith Bank, StarLife Assurance, Virgin Atlantic, Safina Water, Met-so and Dream Oval. The event will be powered by Joy 99.7 FM, Multi TV, and Myjoyonline.com. Sponsors have underwritten half the cost of the event so as to make tickets cheaper for the general public.
