On Saturday, Stanbic Bank Ghana and three other corporate bodies will engage in an anticipated uncompromising soccer fiesta, christened "Stanbic Ghana Invitational football tournament" at the ATTC Park in Accra.
The competition, which forms part of activities marking the bank's 10th milestone which began last year, will attract corporate bodies like MTN, Interplast Ghana and Metro TV.
"As part of the bank's 10th anniversary celebrations, Stanbic bank has extended a friendly hand to other corporate bodies, the media and the general public to witness and participate in the first ever Stanbic Invitational Golf Tournament," a statement by the bank revealed.
It will be a knockout competition with the winners from the groups playing in the finals.
The losers will play for the 3rd and 4th place positions.
At stake is a giant trophy donated by the bank.
Captain of the Stanbic Indomitable XI, Daniel Gyasi has said that his side is determined to lift the trophy to serve as a memento its Ridge head office, saying "This is a host and win affair, we are leaving no stone unturned in the forthcoming competition."
