Strategic Communication Africa Ltd. (Stratcomm Africa), Ghana’s leading total communication agency, hosted a special anniversary edition of its Women S.H.A.R.E. initiative recently at its Asylum Down office in Accra.
The event, themed “Tales of Resilience - Sharing Our Story, Amplifying Your Story, Inspiring Other Stories,” created an empowering platform for women to reflect on their entrepreneurial journeys, share transformative experiences, and inspire collective growth.
The event featured a dynamic panel discussion with prominent women entrepreneurs, including Ms. Esther A.N. Cobbah, Founder and CEO of Stratcomm Africa; Ms Audrey Selormey, Founder and CEO of Buka Restaurant; and Ms. Linda Yaa Ampah, Founder and CEO of Cadling Fashions & KAD Manufacturing.
The session was moderated by Ms. Nyame-Nhyiraba Awura Abena Agyeman, Founder and CEO of Wear Ghana Ltd, who acknowledged the transformative impact of the Women S.H.A.R.E. initiative on her own life and career.
Ms. Audrey Selormey reflected on her 21-year entrepreneurial journey, stressing value creation over profit: “Don’t wake up focusing on money. I would rather focus on creating value.”
She also urged attendees to adapt to changing times while upholding core values: “Times have changed, but let the core values stay strong.”
Ms Linda Yaa Ampah, with 34 years of enterprise experience, highlighted resilience and the importance of social impact: “If you enter with passion, no matter the setbacks, somehow you reinvent and bounce back.”
She shared her dedication to empowering young women through skills training and providing safe housing, demonstrating how businesses can drive meaningful change.
Ms. Esther A.N. Cobbah attributed Stratcomm Africa’s three decades of success to excellence, professional integrity, and a focus on creating value: “Our commitment to excellence and working to glorify God has earned us the strong reputation that drives our survival and growth. A good reputation drives business survival and profitability.”

Participants also heard candid stories of perseverance, reinvention, and the emotional challenges of entrepreneurship.
Reflecting on her own journey, moderator Ms. Agyeman described the personal and professional growth she gained through Women S.H.A.R.E.: “Today, sitting as moderator reminds me of how much this platform has poured into me. Being part of Women S.H.A.R.E. over the years has been transformational.”
Ms. Cobbah explained the vision behind Women S.H.A.R.E., now in its ninth year: “S.H.A.R.E. was established to enable women to strengthen each other by sharing ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
"Many women excel but struggle with challenges they keep to themselves. In a safe space for sharing experiences, women can support each other to overcome challenges confidently and grow in every aspect of their lives.”
The event welcomed women from various backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and homemakers, fostering meaningful dialogue and building lasting connections.
As part of Stratcomm Africa’s 30th-anniversary social impact activities, Women S.H.A.R.E. has become a flagship initiative since its inception in 2015, empowering women through authentic connections and promoting excellence.
This event marked the second Women S.H.A.R.E. session for 2024, following a successful International Women’s Day edition in March.
