Sunderland have turned their sight on Ghana winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, who is on trial at Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old is bent on leaving his current club Panathinaikos as a free agent, and the Wearside outfit could ambush the English Premier League new boys Palace.
The ex-Arsenal winger has reportedly caught the eye of Black Cats’ manager Paolo Di Canio.
Owusu-Abeyie has previously played for Birmingham, Cardiff and Portsmouth on loan before leaving the Gunners.
