A teenager identified as Nana Zinabu, believed to be between 18 and 19 years old, was found dead in her bedroom with three used condoms at Twifo Praso in the Twifo Atti Morkwa district of the Central Region.
An eyewitness who lived in the same house as the victim said she chanced on the body after waking up at dawn, around 4:30 a.m., to prepare food for sale.
She said she noticed that Nana Zinabu’s door was unusually open, and she entered only to find her lying naked.
The eyewitness said she further saw that the victim’s mouth had been sealed with a substance like super glue, with apples, and three used condoms near the body.
She then shouted for help and people who came around reported the matter at the Praso Police Station.
The incident has caused fear and panic among the residents of Praso, particularly as Nana Zinabu was expected to graduate from her sewing apprenticeship this year.
The body has been deposited at the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital for further examination.
Meanwhile, the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Commander, Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng had assured the public that an investigation had begun and those involved would be brought to justice.
