Daddy Lumba is fans favorite on this week’s edition of Tell Merqury Thursday on the Hot Picks show hosted by Merqury Quaye on Joy Prime TV.
In a tightly contested poll in real time via Zoom and Twitter, music fans voted on Wednesday (February 16), choosing Daddy Lumba over Akwaboah following an initial tie between the two highlife musicians the previous day.
Though Akwaboah is enjoying airplay with his latest single ft Cina Soul “Obiaa”, he surprisingly lost the final vote count to veteran highlife musician Daddy Lumba. Through videotelephony and online chat platform, zoom, fans voted by displaying the name of their favorite artist live on TV.
