The former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan says young people are key agents of development and must be at the forefront of global change and innovation.Annan insists it is only when the youth are empowered that they will achieve their dream.The Ghanaian global statesman is in the country to launch a new Commission to help fight drug trafficking in the Sub region.In an interview with Joy News’ Jefferson sackey, the former UN Secretary General was full of praise for Ghanaian youth, saying, he is encouraged to see them take charge of the future of the country.Mr Annan also expressed his views on the crisis in Mali which has reached an alarming proportion and hoped the situation will be brought under control.
